    UPSC CAPF 2019 Recruitment Notification out, here’s how to apply Career India



    UPSC CAPF 2019: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification of of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) 2019 recruitment today on April 24. With this, the application process has also begun. Candidates can apply online at upsc.gov.in

    According to the official notification, there are a total of 323 vacancies. Check vacancy break-up as follows:

    Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in

    On the right hand side tab, click on Examination Notification option

    In the next page, click on ‘Apply Here’ link

    You will be redirected to next page

    Click on- ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’

    Click on the link that reads apply here just beside the ‘CAPF’ recruitment exam

    Read the instructions and click Next

    You will get an application form

    Provide the information required in the form

    Scan and upload photos and signature

    Pay application fee

    Click on submit

    According to the official calendar issued by UPSC, the UPSC CAPF Recruitment notification 2019 will be released on April 24 and the application process will also commence on April 24. The last date to apply for the UPSC CAPF Recruitment is May 20. The written examination for UPSC CAPF recruitment will be held on August 18, 2019.

    UPSC CAPF Recruitment: Eligibility- Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.

    UPSC CAPF Recruitment: Selection process

    (i) Written Examination: The written examination to be conducted by the UPSC will have two papers.

    Paper I will have objective (multiple answers type0 questions of 250 marks to test candidates general ability and intelligence.

    Paper II will have questions on general studies, essay and comprehension carrying 200 marks.

    There will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question paper.

    There will be minimum qualifying marks separately in each Paper. Paper I will be evaluated first and Paper II will be evaluated only of those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper I.

    ii) Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests: Candidates who clear the written examination will be called for Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

    Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) -----Males-------------------------------- Females

    (a) 100 Meters race ------------------In 16 seconds---------------------- In 18 seconds

    (b) 800 Meters race------------------ In 3 minutes 45 seconds---------- In 4 minutes 45 seconds

    (c) Long Jump ------------------------3.5 Meters -----------------------------3.0 meters

    iii) Interview/Personality Test: Those who clear the second hurdle will be call for interview carrying 150 marks.

    The final merit list will made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written test and interview/personality test.
